Hey girls heyyy! If you didn’t know, It’s Transformation Tuesday and I’m transforming my accessories and my guest bedroom into a “cloffice’! But first how was your Mother’s Day weekend? I had more of a chill weekend, quite literally- it’s still very chilly here in upstate New York, so we decided to warm up with a little bonfire in the backyard with some wine and friends!
I just looked at the forecast though and this week it will be in the 70’s! Woohoo!! Speaking of warming up, my jewelry box has been looking a little dull so I decided to brighten it up! And it’s so easy to do with all of the funky color trends this season. I love lots of colors and mixing some that are a little less traditional.
If you’ve been in Target recently, you’ll see what I’m talking about! Tons of bright bold colors and statement jewelry. I came home with some gorgeous tassel and frayed earrings and it makes me so warm and fuzzy inside! (second to a chilled glass of chardonnay) Bauble bar has really set the bar with their trendy jewelry line and even a more affordable alternative called SugarFix.
I’m even more excited for my “cloffice” transformation! I’ve seen a few popping up on instagram but when I saw one of my favorite bloggers @SaraSab ‘s cloffice I was in love!

All the colors and organized shoes and clothes it’s a girls dream! It took some convincing by my other half but after a few back massages (<-kidding….kind of) I got the a-okay to transform our guest room which was pretty much just a storage room into my very own cloffice!
So since this girl has champagne taste on a beer budget, this will be more or less a DIY project.
For starters I found an affordable white desk from Amazon for only $64. And two white book shelves for $80. I plan to spread the two book shelves a few feet apart and cut out circular holes on the top and bottom of both and slip pvc pipe to create two tiered clothing racks.
Here is a sneak peak at the very beginnings! I’m going to paint the walls gray with white trim and raid Marshalls/ TJMaxx for some trendy decorations! My color scheme will be primarily white/gray/rose/gold for a warm feel. I will be updating my progress as I go along! Stay Tuned.
